BIC Writing

Paton Publishing developed the Be Incredibly Creative program for BIC stationery products — an educational writing resource designed to teach students how to write and how to love to write. The program was developed using each province's curriculum for Grades 3 to 6. Be Incredibly Creative helps educators teach the writing strand in a fun, interesting, and relevant way!

The website is divided into two sections:
one for teachers, and another for kids and parents.
The Teachers section provides detailed lesson plans to teach students to write Sentences and Paragraphs, Journals and articles, Poems and Lyrics, Letters, Short Stories, Essay Writing and Media Literacy.

The Kids section offers fun writing activities including Cool Crosswords, Crazy Comics and Word Scrambles, plus, chances to win great prizes every month.
