Leafs@School

Since September 2001, Paton Publishing has helped The Toronto Maple Leafs to capture the hearts of students across southern Ontario by providing a unique learning opportunity – to use hockey as a way to help educators teach. By doing this, the Leafs engaged students, in Grades 4 to 6, in a meaningful learning experience that also proved to be crucial as they decided what sports to engage in, as a participant or a fan, in the future.

“My students immersed themselves into the activities with so much enthusiasm that they sometimes forgot that they were actually doing work.  They can’t wait to begin another Toronto Maple Leaf hockey project.  Thank you!!!”
-Christian Ferreira, Grade 4/5 teacher
